Professional Experience

Lane H. Blumenfeld, Esq. is the founder and managing attorney of Virtual In-House Counsel, pllc.  Previously, he served as chief counsel and corporate secretary of Savvis Communications Corporation (now Savvis, Inc.) (NASDAQ: svvs), a publicly-held, leading provider of managed IT and network services to business customers in almost fifty countries.  A seasoned attorney, Mr. Blumenfeld has extensive experience advising companies operating in the United States and around the world in the areas of commercial, corporate, securities, and technology law and policy.  Mr. Blumenfeld has also served in senior in-house capacities for Teleglobe Communications, a global provider of both traditional and cutting-edge communication services, and Loral Orion, an international satellite services provider, counseling both on international transactional and regulatory matters.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Blumenfeld was the resident director of a USAID-funded project in Moscow, where he advised the Russian government on legal reform.  Additionally, he has practiced at the law firm of Latham & Watkins in Washington, DC in the areas of corporate, finance, and international business transactions.
